It is signed G W Morrison and dated ’37 (1937) to the bottom right.

We believe G W Morrison is an Irish painter from (or based in) Belfast specialised in landscapes who was born at the end of the 19th /early 20th century.

The original back board still displays the label showing the name and the address of the artist’s studio.
