An enchanting wax bust depicting Louise Brongniart (1772-1845) after the famous bust by Jean Antoine Houdon (1741-1828).

Louise was the daughter of Alexander Theodore Brongniart the famous French architect of the 'Bourse' (stock exchange) in Paris.

This wax bust is set on a small round wooden plinth.

There is an old repair to the neck.

Height 18 cm with the stand, 12 cm without.
