A William and Mary Revival Wing Back Armchair

Origin: England   Period: Late 19th / Early 20th Century

A rare late 19th / early 20th C. oak High Wing Back Armchair.

Unusual shape with a single shaped stretcher under and beautifully carved frame to the front.

Two front turned legs and slightly raked back legs.

It is still covered with what was once a very tasteful brocade type material.

The very nice fabric now is worn in places but this does not detract from the fabulous style and shape of this armchair.
