A Mahogany Bow Fronted Chest of Drawers of Small Proportions

Origin: England   Period: Circa 1840

A very good quality small chest of drawers dating from circa 1840 in excellent condition and with a great patina.

The oak lined two short drawers over two long drawers have brass oval plate handles and the original locks.

The mahogany top has cross-banding edging and the chest has a reeded decoration all around the bottom the bracket feet are at the front and back of this piece.

This small chest would be ideal for a guest room.

Size 88cm x 45.5cm x 81.5cm H.

Condition: There is a small piece of veneer lacking from the back right hand side (see photo). The handles have been changed at some time in the past.
