Origin: England Period: 1840's - 1850's.

A fine quality dining table showing a lovely colour and patina made most probably by Maple & Co of London in the 1840's - 1850's. The windout mechanism is by the respected Joseph Fitter of Birmingham.

When fully extended the table can seat up to 10 people or a cosy 12 with two people at each end.

Made from the finest Walnut the top is supported by turned and slightly tapering reeded legs with porcelain and brass castors.

There are a few marks to the table which are consistent with age but, certainly do not detract from this superb looking quality piece of furniture.

Also, there is a set of 12 Dining chairs of the same age, again by Maple & Co. which can be purchased separately.
