A superb quality mahogany library table in excellent condition with a lovely colour and patina.

The unusually shaped top, 136cm at the front edge narrowing to 114cm, has a three quarter gallery and is supported by a wonderfully shaped stretchered base.

Dating from circa 1830 this table is believed to have originally come from a university library.

Because of its dimensions this piece could ideally be also used as sofa table, console or desk.
