Origin: Northern Italy - Lombardy - Milan.   Period: Late 18th / Early 19th Century

A very rare and exquisite walnut veneered Italian Commode with beautiful marquetery.

Square tapering legs supporting three long drawers.

The top drawer is thinner and treated as a frieze.

The deeper drawers are treated senza traversa (without disruption) with a simulated panel centred by a further medallion.

Also the sides are centred by medallions.

Beautiful Original marble top.

Last quarter of 18th Century

Northern Italy - Lombardy - Milan.

This chest of drawers has been purchased from a private estate.

The internal drawers are also very well finished in gold damask fabric.
