Tall Artist's Wooden Stool

This tall stool is quite rare and unusual and belonged to an artist who probably enjoyed it greatly while painting in front of his easel.

The colour and patina of the wood is stunning although it is difficult to say with complete certainty whether it is walnut or mahogany.

Four straight and strong legs joined by stretchers in between each one at different heights, support a generous seat slightly inclined. All of these construction/design details make this stool very practical, sturdy and versatile.
