Origin: Probably Irish Period: Circa 1900

Very decorative and unusual solid oak Arts & Crafts open armchair.

The stiles of the back ending with a curl carved motif and joined by three rails.

Strong curved arms supported by a pair of barely twist arm supports and, to the side, decorative fret cut panels.

Shaped apron to the front as well as to the sides

Probably Irish.

Drop in seat (above solid base) which could, alternatively, be easily replaced with a bespoke seat cushion.

Seat height 44cm.

Top rail height 92cm.

Items must be returned unaltered and in their original condition. The consumer retains full liability for the goods during transit and is responsible for handling any insurance claims for damage, loss, or theft that may occur during return shipment.

A refund of the purchase price will be issued to the original payment once the item has been safely received. A deduction may be applied if the value of the antique has been diminished by handling or use beyond what is necessary to inspect it.
