A very decorative and impressive Walnut Empire style desk chair dating from the mid 20th century.

Of large proportions this very comfortable tub chair has superb details, especially in the gilded carved swan arms.

The swan wings, which stretch up the arms, have been very well carved indeed and the carved fluted back rail is also of fine quality.

The seat cushion, although slightly worn in places, is still very usable.

All supported on classic Empire sabre shaped front legs and slightly splayed rear legs.
